On January 14, 2011, the original company was formally incorporated as BPENNOVA Consultoría Limitada in the district of Las Condes, Santiago, Chile.
Institutional support to the BMV: at the end of 2012, the consulting firm reached an international expansion milestone by directly advising the Mexican Stock Exchange (BMV) on the modeling and extensions of the IFRS-XBRL Taxonomy for its market issuers.
SVS Taxonomy: the firm provided technical support for the implementation and control of the 2013 XBRL Taxonomy for Commercial Companies, issued by what was then Chile's Superintendency of Securities and Insurance (SVS).
Strategic alliance with Fujitsu: it consolidated its key role in Latin America as an authorized integrator of Fujitsu's Interstage XWand software suite, the benchmark tool for validating and processing XBRL files.
Corporate transformation: in September 2017, the company amended its bylaws in Chile, bringing in new partners and transforming its structure to support a multinational consulting model under the corporate name BPENNOVA Consulting Group.
Multi-country operation: a strong technical infrastructure was consolidated between its offices in Santiago, Chile and Bogotá, Colombia, simultaneously covering banking, insurance and securities market needs in both countries.
Workiva Partner: we established a strategic alliance with Workiva, a global leader in reporting and compliance solutions. This collaboration allows us to integrate our technologies with the Workiva platform and strengthen our clients' information management and ESG reporting, in line with standards such as ISSB / IFRS S1 & S2, GRI and SASB, as well as applicable local requirements in Latin America.
